A little about us:

I’m David and I love a nice clean traditional pub serving great beer and food.

I’m a big believer that a pub should be at the heart of it’s local community and should offer exceptional drinks and food coupled with fantastic service.

Since arriving at The Breeze Hill in 2021 I have led a full refurbishment of the bar areas, restaurant and B&B rooms. I’m now hoping for some rest while enjoying a beer at the bar!

I’m Maureen and you’ll see me a lot as I head up our front-of-house teams.

Along with David I’m involved with many aspects of running the pub, my priorities being cleanliness and ensuring exceptional customer service.

I also ensure that our B&B rooms are always well maintained, clean and well presented.

David and I met when we were just 11 years old when we lived just four doors away from each other. We married in 1988 and look forward to many more years together at The Breeze Hill.

Our Vision

In this beautiful part of the world we simply wanted to create a relaxing place where there is great beer, proper food and good old conversation.

The Breeze Hill is a great pub in a friendly town with a warm welcome and a lively atmosphere. We love ‘proper pubs’ and set out to create the sort of pub that we like to go into and, importantly, the sort of pub Maureen would go into on her own and feel safe and comfortable. We look forward to Games Nights, Tasting Nights, great music and long sunny days in our beer garden with people from all over having a great time.

It’s an incredible honour to be custodians of this fabulous pub and we’ll do everything we can to make it a warm, friendly and happy place to spend some time.
